CareNow Urgent Care - Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at CareNow Urgent Care. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and providing expert diagnostic imaging services.

Job Summary:

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing radiology procedures, ensuring the quality and accuracy of images, and maintaining equipment. You will work closely with our medical staff and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

About the Role:

  • Perform timely and quality radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.
  • Conduct quality control checks/audits on radiologic equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Process specimens for reference laboratories and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator, and clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain occupational client preference cards and adhere to occupational procedures.
  • Assist with general patient care when needed, including routine office functions such as copying, faxing, and filing patient materials.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience in a clinical patient setting is beneficial.
  • NCT - A Non-Certified Technician license in Texas.
  • The ability to obtain a BLS Certification within 30 days of start.
  • Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
  • NCT License issued by the Board of Medical Examiners/Texas Department of State Health Services is required.
