Overview of Job Role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Gastroenterology team at Emory Decatur Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat patients with gastrointestinal disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients with gastrointestinal disorders.
  • Assist physicians in developing care plans and prescribing treatment.
  • Document patient care in medical records and conduct patient interviews to gather vital information.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Current licensure as an advanced practice nurse in Georgia and certification in Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • AHA BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications required.
