Organization: Medical Associates Clinic

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Medical Professional, including Certified Medical Assistants, LPNs, or RNs, to contribute to our healthcare team.

Work Schedule:

The primary working hours are weekdays from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, averaging 4 days per week with a total of 72 hours per pay period. Flexibility in scheduling is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with surgical procedures and various treatment methods.
  • Gather patient health information, conduct diagnostic tests, and review medical histories.
  • Effectively communicate with patients and colleagues, providing education as needed.
  • Document care provided, including interventions, medications, and patient education.
  • Ensure a safe and organized clinical environment.
  • Exhibit adaptability in performing additional patient care tasks.
  • Complete all assigned responsibilities and projects.

Qualifications:

Experience - A minimum of three months to one year in a similar role is preferred.

Education - Completion of a two-year college degree or a specialized training program. Certification as a Medical Assistant or valid LPN/RN licensure is mandatory.

Interpersonal Skills - High levels of trust and diplomacy are essential, along with standard courtesy and tact.

Other Skills - Proficiency in keyboarding and operation of electronic medical equipment. Familiarity with a variety of diagnostic and medical tools is required. BLS certification is necessary on a biannual basis.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves various physical activities, including stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and fine motor skills.

Medium Work - The position may require exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
