Assembly Technician

At UFP Industries, Inc., we're proud to offer a collaborative environment where you can see your work come to life every day. As a valued member of our production team, you'll play a crucial role in fabricating component parts or assembling finished products according to customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up your work area efficiently to ensure a smooth production process
• Assemble parts together in accordance with quality standards and prescribed instructions
• Operate hand tools as needed to complete the assembly process
• Stack completed products in accordance with established procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Ensure your work area is safe, clean, and organized, and that equipment is safe to operate
• Complete pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklists and report any issues or concerns
• Maintain accurate production records as required
• Verify materials and finished products to ensure compliance with standards
• Perform duties in accordance with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards
• Participate in safety, continuous improvement, and other programs and meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
• No minimum experience is necessary, but 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience is preferred
• Working knowledge of basic math is essential
• Must be at least 18 years of age
