About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at General Dynamics Information Technology. As a Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our cyber security professionals by leveraging AI/ML tools, techniques, and data modeling to analyze and mitigate cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with cyber security teams to develop and employ machine learning techniques and algorithms to support cyber security, including detection of anomalous and malicious cyber activity.
  • Lead and devise innovative methods and techniques to leverage AI/ML/Neural Networks to improve the detection of malicious activity.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify and prioritize areas for improvement in our cyber security capabilities.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in data science, cyber security, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and deep learning.
  • Proficiency in data modeling and visualizations.
  • Proficiency in one or more languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with data science-related mathematics, including statistics and probability, linear algebra, and calculus.
