Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a highly skilled Social Worker to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas.
Job Summary:The LCSW/LMSW Social Worker performs psychosocial assessments and therapeutic crisis intervention for families/victims of child abuse. Works directly with Cook Children's CARE Team and community agencies to provide services for families and victims of child abuse.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans for families/victims of child abuse.
- Provide therapeutic crisis intervention and support services to families/victims of child abuse.
- Collaborate with Cook Children's CARE Team and community agencies to provide comprehensive services for families and victims of child abuse.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community agencies and organizations to ensure access to resources and services for families and victims of child abuse.
- Master's degree in social work (MSW).
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in child maltreatment (e.g., child welfare, child protection, or a child advocacy group).
- Minimum of LMSW licensure in Texas, LCSW preferred.
- CPR certification.
