Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at ITG Cigars. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical systems of machinery, equipment, and physical structures in an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating equipment and replacing worn parts.
  • Use basic computer systems and key entry data collectors to track work orders and inventory.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned tasks on schedule.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to demonstrate predictable, reliable, and timely attendance.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions and complete assigned tasks on schedule.
  • Ability to understand and calculate basic math.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Our Maintenance Technician will work in a fast-paced industrial environment, with frequent exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
