Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, full-time, board-eligible or board-certified Neurohospitalist physician to enhance our esteemed neuroscience care team. This role is integral to our advanced thrombectomy-capable stroke program, providing comprehensive specialty support around the clock from various disciplines including neurosurgery, endovascular neurosurgery, vascular surgery, epilepsy, neuro-interventional radiology, neuroradiology, and psychiatry.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment with a focus on stroke and neurologic conditions.
- Participate in a flexible 7 on, 7 off scheduling model, ensuring work-life balance.
- Engage in 12-hour shifts, with the possibility of part-time involvement in stroke clinics or general neurology practices.
- Work alongside a team of neuro-trained nurse practitioners and specialists, including outpatient neurologists.
- Explore additional opportunities for compensation through telestroke and teleneurology services.
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this position ranges from $260,686 to $382,015 annually, with new graduates and J1 candidates potentially receiving higher starting salaries. This range may include incentives based on productivity or quality of service, as well as call pay and extra shift incentives. Continuing Medical Education (CME) benefits may also be available.
