Helicopter Air Ambulance Pilot

Metro Aviation, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Helicopter Air Ambulance Pilot to join our team in Bessemer, Alabama. As a key member of our Regional Air Medical Services program, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of patients in emergency medical situations.

• Operate a variety of aircraft, including the AS350, in a safe and professional manner.
• Conduct pre-flight inspections, maintenance airworthiness flights, and servicing to ensure aircraft airworthiness.
• Maintain a clean and organized aircraft, including the medical cabin.
• Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and management to ensure seamless operations.
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required.

• FAA Commercial Pilot Rotorcraft Certificate and Instrument Helicopter Rating (Airline Transport Pilot Rotorcraft Preferred)
• 2nd Class Medical (1st Class required at some locations)
• Minimum 2,000 hours of total flight time, with 1,200 hours of helicopter flight time and 1,000 hours of pilot-in-command helicopter time
• Turbine helicopter time and night vision goggle experience preferred
