We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathology Assistant to join our team at Soliant. As a key member of our educational staffing solutions, you will provide valuable support to Speech-Language Pathologists and deliver essential services to students with diverse communication needs.

Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Evaluation Support: Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in conducting assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language needs.
  • IEP Development and Implementation: Support in the development and implementation of tailored education plans (IEPs) and treatment goals.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with school staff and parents to support students' progress and communication skills.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
Qualifications
  • Education and Certification: Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance or related field, and current state certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or eligibility for certification.
  • Experience and Skills: Previous experience in a school-based setting is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and follow direction from supervising SLP.
