Job Description:

Oncology Nurse Navigator Role

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Navigator to join our team. This role will involve working closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless navigation through the cancer treatment process.

  • Primary Responsibilities:
    • Provide education and support to patients and caregivers on cancer treatment options and potential side effects;
    • Assess patient needs and develop personalized care plans;
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely completion of care during transitions;
    • Support patients in making informed decisions about genetic testing and research studies;
    • Evaluate current navigation practices and engage in quality improvement efforts to advance individual practice and the navigation program.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required;
  • Active Georgia nursing license or eligibility for licensure within 60 days of hire;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in oncology, with at least 1 year in assigned disease group;
  • PREFERRED: OCN, AOCN, APN, CBCN, or BMTCN certification within 24 months.
Salary:

$80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
