Geospatial Apprentice

Wiser is seeking a skilled Geospatial Apprentice to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will work with cutting-edge technology to develop innovative solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform digital feature extraction from multiple data sources
• Attribute digital data accurately
• Understand and follow project-specific guidance
• Independently use technical resources and guidance documents
• Clean geographic data errors and omissions
• Apply cartographic editing techniques to include feature displacement, thinning, symbolization, and annotation
• Suggest and implement improved work methods

Requirements:

• U.S. Citizen
• Basic familiarity with ArcGIS or GIS software
• Workspace suitable for remote work with high-speed internet and multiple monitors
• Ability to self-lead using customer guidance
• Ability to meet production deadlines with minimal errors
• Ability to communicate with a diverse team of people

Work Environment:

• Work is performed remotely, Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week (8 hours per day)
