We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Quality Engineer to lead our data quality initiatives and shape our data management processes.
The Role:- Define and implement data quality standards and processes.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Assess and enhance our current data management tools and practices.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in data quality, providing leadership and guidance.
- Develop and maintain data quality processes and standards.
- Work with departments to address data quality issues and implement solutions.
- Conduct assessments of existing tools and practices to identify improvement areas.
- Provide expertise in data quality requirements, rules, and best practices.
- Ensure data integrity and reliability for critical business decisions.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing/Industrial Technology, or related field.
- 6-8 years of Data Engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Python or R for scripting and data manipulation.
- Experience with data science, including AI/ML techniques.
- Strong skills in data quality analysis and improvement.
- Familiarity with graph databases.
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools.
- Ability to build and lead a data quality team.
- Ability to travel including monthly day trips and quarterly overnight domestic trips.
- Six Sigma certification or similar problem-solving/data analytics training.
- Experience with manufacturing finances and cross-functional team influence.
- Background in product measurement, gaging, and testing strategies.
- Knowledge of PLC Controls, MES systems, and computer coding.
- Familiarity with vision system hardware/software is highly desirable.
- Experience in furniture, automotive, automation, or technology integration industries.
- Familiarity with processes such as wood-working, metal-forming, welding, and powder-coating.
