Job Description:

As an Aircraft Structures Specialist at Aviation Technical Services, you will play a critical role in ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft by performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and overhauls.


Main Responsibilities:
  • You will work under minimal supervision, utilizing your technical expertise to diagnose and resolve issues with aircraft structures.
  • Effective communication with colleagues and leadership is vital, as you will be responsible for keeping them informed of work progress and any difficulties that arise.
  • A strong understanding of all areas of the aircraft and assigned work area is essential, as well as the ability to develop repair schemes and conduct operational tests.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Intermediate knowledge of all areas of the aircraft and assigned work area
  • Ability to develop repair schemes and conduct operational tests
  • Strong communication skills
  • Airframe and/or Power plant License
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a General Mechanic or 3 years of related commercial/military aircraft experience

Work Environment:

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines, frequent interactions with colleagues and leadership, and the ability to lift and move heavy equipment.


Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this position is $34,340 - $60,000 per annum (based on 40 hours/week), exclusive of benefits or potential bonuses. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, financial assistance, time-off, and career development opportunities.
