Job Summary

The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring it meets quality of service and customer satisfaction. This person will be expected to coach, mentor, and care for team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed budgets while focusing on cost of goods sold and EBITDA
  • Manage all daily paperwork at the unit level, including sales reports, shift inventories, and other necessary paperwork to ensure profitability
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the unit at all times
  • Complete monthly inspections of the unit using the Unit Inspection form
  • Order all food and supplies needed to operate the unit on a daily basis
  • Hire and discipline staff members
  • Select and develop a staff member to assume all duties when the General Manager is out of the unit
  • Hold monthly meetings with all employees to discuss relevant information
  • Establish a visible presence in the community by visiting businesses, churches, and civic organizations to drive business and increase sales
  • Enforce all brand standards, company policies, and procedures
  • Ensure all new hire paperwork, timesheets, and payroll data, disciplinary actions, and personal data sheets are completed correctly and in a timely manner
  • Train all levels of staff in proper operations of the unit for POS systems, back of house functions, and front of house operations
  • Notify the District Manager or Vice President of Operations of any hurdles to success
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or completion of a GED
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all hourly associates
  • Ability to cover all shifts during normal operation of the unit
  • Previous restaurant experience required
  • Current ServSafe Certification

Compensation: $2, $3,500.00 per year
