Job Summary:
Soliant is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for providing educational services to students with special needs in an elementary and middle school setting.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Provide instruction and support to students in a variety of settings, including classrooms and small group settings
- Collaborate with general education teachers and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive educational experience for all students
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress and involve them in the educational process
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Special Education or a related field
- TX teaching license or ability to acquire before starting
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in special education
- Elementary and middle school experience preferred
- Ability to work with students with a variety of special needs
