Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team at The Goddard School of Florham Park.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment for children aged 3-4 years.
  • Develop and implement weekly lesson plans aligned with Goddard's Developmental Guidelines and monthly school themes.
  • Support children's physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development, and address individual needs.
  • Foster positive relationships with families through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and productive work environment.
  • Participate in regular staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional growth.
  • Ensure compliance with Goddard's quality assurance standards.
  • Work collaboratively with others to achieve shared goals.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is required.

Requirements:

  • A degree in education or a related field, or in the process of obtaining (CDA is acceptable), or willingness to earn CDA.
  • Previous experience working in a licensed preschool setting, especially with 3- and 4-year-olds.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts during our operating hours, Monday through Friday, 7am-6pm.
