Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for greeting customers, taking orders, and preparing and serving food and drinks. You will also maintain a clean and well-stocked workspace and dining area, update displays, and continuously expand your knowledge of food and beverage quality controls, preparation methods, and presentations.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service
  • Welcome customers and inform them about specials or new items
  • Answer questions and take orders and payments
• Food and Beverage Preparation
  • Prepare foods, such as sandwiches or baked goods
  • Grind and blend coffee beans, brew coffee and tea, and serve items to customers
• Inventory Management
  • Take inventory and replenish items in display cases, at tables, or behind the counter
• Teamwork
  • Work as part of a fun, high-energy team
• Food Safety and Quality
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and quality controls

Requirements

• Experience in food and beverage preparation or customer service preferred
• Availability to work around peak hours, including nights, early morning weekends, and holidays
• Training and willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparation
• Exceptional listening and communication skills
• Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence
• A polite engaging personality
