About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Auxiliary Plant Operator to join our team at NAES Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our power plant equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate and maintain power plant equipment, including motors, pumps, boilers, fluid systems, and electrical distribution systems.
  • Monitoring and Control: Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal operation and minimize downtime.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment and comply with regulatory standards.
  • Training and Development: Prioritize qualifying as a Control Room Operator (CRO) by pursuing relevant training and gaining necessary experience.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Build strong working relationships with teammates, team leaders, technical experts, and engineers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree or technical certification in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Power Plant Experience: Experience in a power plant environment is desired, preferably as an Auxiliary Operator, Plant Operator, Outside Operator, or in an equivalent position.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with power plant equipment, basic understanding of physics, mathematics, electrical theory, and chemistry.
  • Soft Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ability to work in a team environment, and strong communication skills.
