We are seeking a skilled general cardiologist to join our multidisciplinary team at OSF HealthCare Saint Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa, Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who desires a busy practice with a strong referral base and no call responsibility.
About the PositionThis is a full-time position with Monday through Friday coverage, with typical inpatient coverage of 2 days a week and clinic coverage 3-4 days a week. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting EKGs, performing echocardiography, TEE, stress testing, nuclear cardiology, and cardiac CT (coming soon).
About Our HospitalOSF HealthCare Saint Elizabeth Medical Center is a 97-bed acute care hospital dedicated to providing quality health care since 1895. We have a recent addition/acquisition to the Peru, IL Campus as well.
Qualifications- Licenses/Certifications: Physician Licensed (or eligible to be licensed) to practice medicine in the current state. Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
- Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies). Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
- Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
- Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
The estimated salary range for this position is $350,000 - $450,000 per year, based on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and more.
