Carpentry Apprentice

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Carpenter Apprentice to join our team at Swinerton. As an apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your trade skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This is a great chance to kick-start your career in carpentry and work towards becoming a skilled tradesperson.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year (dependent on location)

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning work areas, machines, and equipment to maintain a safe and clean job site. They will also assist other carpenters with retrieving tools, learning basic hand and power tool usage, and maintaining a clean construction area. Additionally, they will select and transport materials to the work site, handle materials for carpenters, construct small carpentry projects under the supervision of experienced journeyman carpenters, and perform various other tasks as assigned.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, applicants must have the ability to learn new skills with attention to detail, lift and/or pull 50lbs., climb ladders, work off ladders, man lifts or other equipment, and maintain a standing position for extended periods. They should also be capable of working in various weather conditions and upholding the Swinerton Core Values of Integrity, Leadership, Passion, and Excellence at all times.
