Duration: 13 weeks
Hours: 36 hours per week
Shift: 12 hours

Essential Qualifications:
All candidates must provide detailed information regarding:
- Duties performed, hospital size, unit size, and trauma level (if applicable).
- Any employment gaps must be explained.
- Certifications must be current and valid.
- Active nursing license in hand.
Nurse-Patient Ratios:
Days: 1:5-6
Nights: 1:6
Number of Beds: 36
Required Certifications:
BLS, ACLS preferred, Chemo/Immunotherapy certification is highly preferred. Experience in PCU and Oncology is required.
Common Patient Diagnoses:
Oncology-related conditions, abdominal pain, COPD, overdose, alcohol withdrawal, weakness, psychiatric issues, and some surgical cases.
Additional Information:
- Charge Nurse may be available but can take assignments if necessary.
- Patient Care Assistants are present on the unit.
- Telemonitoring is required; dedicated monitor tech available.
Shifts & Scheduling:
Typical shifts are from 7:15 AM to 7:15 PM, with weekend and holiday requirements.
Orientation:
Includes one day of unit-specific orientation and clinical education.
