Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Villas Maintenance Technician to join our team at The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our resort's maintenance systems, including responding to guest repair requests, performing preventive maintenance, and communicating with guests and colleagues to resolve maintenance issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication
  • Communicate with guests and colleagues to resolve maintenance issues and ensure seamless operations
  • Identify, locate, and operate shut-off valves for equipment and utility shut-offs for buildings
  • Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed
  • Display basic knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in categories such as air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting preferred
  • Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance a plus
  • Driver's license required
