A highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Scientist is sought after by i4 Search Group to join our team in Weaverville, CA. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or a related field from an accredited institution and be certified by a recognized agency, such as the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), the National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel (NCA), or the American Medical Technologists (AMT).
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct a wide range of laboratory tests, including blood tests, urine tests, and other bodily fluid tests, to diagnose, monitor, and treat diseases.
Analyze and interpret laboratory test results, and report them to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition, and conduct routine quality control checks.
Follow strict safety protocols to ensure the safety of themselves, other laboratory staff, and patients.
Maintain accurate records of test results, ensuring that all documentation is complete and up-to-date.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Certification by a recognized agency, such as the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), the National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel (NCA), or the American Medical Technologists (AMT).
Active CLS License in the state of California.
One year of CLS experience preferred.
Experience as a Generalist preferred.
