Job Summary

Nurse First is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team as a Traveling Sonographer. This is a 13-week assignment in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Conduct echocardiograms and other diagnostic procedures to assess cardiac function and detect potential abnormalities.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve imaging quality and patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a travel or per diem setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment as needed, with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
