Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer to join our team. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and delivering high-quality technical documentation to support our clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including engineering design documentation, operational procedures, plans, action reports, and meeting minutes.
- Coordinate with program development and operational subject matter experts to ensure accurate and timely delivery of documentation.
- Manage timelines and prioritize deliveries across multiple task orders.
- Adjudicate formal commentary and feedback on technical documentation.
- Maintain proper handling of documentation, including correct migration practices and engagement with multiple libraries and document locations.
- Support other Technical Writers in surge and peer-review work.
- Active Secret clearance
- Ability to obtain Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance
- U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to obtain DHS Suitability
- 6+ years of technical writing experience developing deliverables for internal and external audiences
- Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Experience developing news articles, monthly newsletters, executive messages, advanced presentations, and infographics
- Fluid technical writing and editing skills, including AP Style
- Ability to work under pressure with clients, program managers, and subject matter experts in a fast-paced cybersecurity environment
- Familiarity with SAFe Agile terminology and processes
- Familiarity with cybersecurity communications language and subject matter
- Familiarity with ServiceNow and SharePoint
- Familiarity with JIRA
- Well-versed in Adobe Acrobat and Acrobat Pro
- Advanced PowerPoint presentations and infographics skills
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required.
