Job Summary

The General Foreman is a key member of our team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our projects. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and resources.


Key Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:


  • Managing project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials
  • Inspecting work progress and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Training and supervising employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs
  • Coordinating with other departments and stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure project success
  • Analyzing data and making recommendations to improve project efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:


  • A high school diploma or equivalent and at least 4 years of managerial experience in a related industry
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and resources
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, customers, and stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

Working Conditions

This role will require you to work in a petrochemical/refinery environment, with exposure to cold and hot working conditions, noise, and hazardous chemicals. You will need to be able to wear protective equipment and follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.


Travel Requirements

This role will require extensive travel throughout the U.S. and overnight stays for extended periods of time. You will need to be able to work effectively in a variety of environments and adapt to changing circumstances.
