Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse - Pre-op to join our team in Quincy, Illinois. As a preoperative nurse, you will play a crucial role in preparing patients for surgery, providing education, and advocating for their well-being.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for surgery by administering medications, starting IVs, and monitoring vital signs.
- Provide education to patients and their families about upcoming procedures and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience in specialty.
- An active RN license.
