Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled nurse practitioner or physician assistant to provide high-quality patient care in our busy cardiology group. The ideal candidate will have a current licensure with the State of Ohio as an acute NP or PA, good verbal and written communication skills, and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality patient care in our busy cardiology group* Work closely with electrophysiology, congestive heart failure, cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgery, and structural heart teams* Participate in education and research activities* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams* Provide clinic follow-up appointments* Counsel patients about concerns under the direction of the supervising physician(s)* Complete discharge summaries* Order medications, treatments, labs, etc. as described and permitted under the Ohio State Medical Board supervision agreement and the Mercy Health St. Rita's credentialing boards* Be available for call about patient conditions according to the pre-established schedule* Other duties as determined by the supervising physician(s)
Requirements:
* Current licensure with the State of Ohio as an acute NP or PA* Good verbal and written communication skills* Commitment to providing excellent patient care
