About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team at ISH Dining Services. As a Housekeeping Aide, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, safe, orderly, attractive manner in accordance with established procedures.
  • Assure the highest standard of cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with health care facility guidelines.
  • Perform a variety of housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing surfaces and equipment.
  • Restock supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Participate in rotating weekend and holiday coverage.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Ability to understand English.
  • Knowledge of housekeeping practices, procedures, and guidelines pertaining to health care facilities.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing housekeeping practices.
  • Economical use of supplies, care and use of equipment.
  • Ability to keep up with work demand and schedule.
  • Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, visitors, and the general public.

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate of $13.00.

  • 8-hour shift.
