Job Summary:

The Assistant Nurse Manager is a key member of the Albany Medical Center team, responsible for coordinating, planning, and administering various aspects of patient care. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate patient care activities and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with other service leaders to achieve departmental and organizational goals.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
