About the Role

As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and maintaining the optimal function of our information systems. This includes installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrading to applications, systems, and modules.

The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively, work both independently and collaboratively within a small team, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone with an upbeat, positive attitude who is eager to support our mission and achieve our strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Translating business objectives into technical requirements and providing technical support, guidance, and training to system users;
  • Collaborating with executive leadership, Human Resources, and Finance department staff to identify system improvements and enhancements;
  • Recommending, developing, and managing implementation solutions;
  • Managing permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for system users;
  • Programming custom functions and documentation, such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports;
  • Compiling or assisting with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior leadership, Human Resources, and Finance department staff;
  • Serving as the lead representative and liaison between departments and external vendors for design and implementation projects;
  • Ensuring adherence to organization policies and system compliance with data security and privacy requirements;
  • Supporting critical system maintenance and operational tasks within the systems;
  • Maintaining knowledge of trends and developments in information system technology;
  • Working effectively with other team members;
  • Actively participating in annual in-service training;
  • Abiding by all of Options for Learning's policies and procedures;
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.
