This role will be based in Dulles, VA. The majority of the work will be conducted on the unclassified side, although some SCIF tasks may be required, necessitating on-site support. A Top Secret/SCI Clearance is essential to commence work.
Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will:
Automate cloud-native technologies, deploy applications, and provision essential infrastructure Engage with microservices and distributed application architecture, including containers, Kubernetes, and/or serverless technology Operate within the OpenStack cloud ecosystem to configure and deploy optimized infrastructure Ensure monitoring and health of deployed resources using Nagios or other enterprise management solutions Document procedures utilized during deployment cycles Gain experience with operational monitoring tools Collaborate with fellow DevOps team members, mentoring and cross-training to enhance technical talent and assist in troubleshooting tasks Implement clean and maintainable infrastructure-as-code adhering to industry best practices, such as TerraformTo excel in this role, you should possess:
The ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with rapid turnaround times and changing priorities Proven troubleshooting capabilities and a willingness to tackle unfamiliar challenges 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Terraform, & Ansible 3+ years of experience in Linux tools/automation and shell scripting 3+ years of experience in Python programming 1+ years of experience managing OpenStack 3+ years of experience with Docker containerization, with Kubernetes (K8s) highly preferred 3+ years of experience with continuous integration/deployment tools such as Jenkins or GitLab 3+ years of experience creating, executing, and troubleshooting complex automated processes for server configuration and/or code deploymentBasic Qualifications

Salary Range: $107,300 - $160,900 Salary Range 2: $133,000 - $199,600. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers various factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company-paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
