Senior Attorney

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Attorney to join our team at the City of Dearborn. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, prosecuting, and defending complex cases, as well as providing a wide range of legal services to the City.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and prosecute complex cases in court
• Provide legal advice and guidance to City departments and staff
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys
• Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and 5 years of related experience
• Licensed to practice law in Michigan
• Admission to practice before U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit
