Family Birthing Center Job Description:
ECHN's Family Birthing Center is dedicated to providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns. We seek a highly skilled Per Diem Registered Nurse to join our team, utilizing their expertise to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Monitor and respond to patient clinical conditions, maintaining open communication with the care team.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills in providing age-appropriate care for patients throughout their lifespan.
- Promote nursing professionalism through positive interactions with colleagues.
- Develop and revise care plans based on patient assessments and responses.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
- A graduate of an accredited nursing school with current licensure in Connecticut is required.
- Certification in ACLS and NRP is required upon hire or within one year; BLS certification is required upon hire or during orientation.
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification must be obtained within one year.
