Manufacturing Associate

Boise Cascade is seeking a Production Technician I to join our team in Lena, LA. As a Production Technician I, you will be responsible for performing general labor duties in a manufacturing environment. This is a non-climate-controlled mill, and temperatures can be extreme. You will work in a team environment and be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work area.

• Assist team members with production tasks as needed
• Perform general labor duties, including moving heavy objects and cleaning equipment
• Act as a relief operator to cover other employees' breaks and vacations
• Participate in on-the-job training to learn new skills and advance in the company

• No experience required; on-the-job training provided
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to communicate in writing and basic math skills
• Available to work any shift and willing to learn new skills

• Two days on, two days off, three days on, two days off rotation
• Monday - Friday 5:00am - 5:00pm hours per week, with weekend availability as required

After completing the 90 or 120 day probationary period, associates will have the opportunity to test using skills taught since hire with the possibility of advancing through the following levels.

• Production Tech II ($22.62 per hour)
• Production Tech III ($23.56 per hour)
• Production Tech IV ($25.00 per hour)
• Production Tech V ($27.90 per hour)
