We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team at MaineHealth, a leading healthcare system in northern New England. This position offers a unique opportunity to work independently in a hospital-employed position with a large nonprofit healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement anesthesia plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations, administer anesthesia, and monitor patients during procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Master's or Doctorate Degree from an accredited Nurse Anesthesiology Program.
- Active State APRN-CNRA license or ability to obtain prior to employment.
- Active NBCRNA certification, BCLS, ACLS certifications, and DEA registration.
- Minimum 3 years CRNA experience preferred.
- Ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia and obstetrics experience required.
- Ability to work independently without supervision.
