We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Ascension Providence Hospital in Southfield, MI. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to patients, working closely with physicians to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, selecting exposure factors accurately to ensure high-quality images.
- Administer contrast media and medications within the scope of practice and applicable regulations.
- Monitor patient safety during procedures and report any abnormalities.
- Recommend updates to imaging protocols as needed.
- Ensure radiation safety procedures are followed, minimizing patient exposure.
- Submit high-quality images and documents to PACS in a timely manner.
- Maintain equipment functionality and report any issues to appropriate personnel.
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
- ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification within 12 months of hire date.
- High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree within 6 months of hire.
