RN - Labor and Delivery Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Providence Portland Medical Center. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our patients through the childbirth process.
Responsibilities- Provide individualized care to patients undergoing labor and delivery, including administering medications, monitoring fetal heart rates, and performing vaginal deliveries.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with complex medical needs.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and advancements in labor and delivery care.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
- Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
- Current National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics certification within 90 days of hire.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience.
- Current National Certification in area of specialty.
