Clinical Pharmacist, Inpatient, Central Operations Full-Time Position

Penn Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our Inpatient, Central Operations team. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of care for our patients by providing expert pharmaceutical care and support to our healthcare teams.
Responsibilities- Prepare and dispense medications using appropriate techniques to ensure outcomes of drug therapies and following the health system's policies and procedures.
- Provide concise, applicable, and timely responses to drug information requests from healthcare providers and patients.
- Ensure continuity of pharmaceutical care from the acute and ambulatory patient-care settings.
- Participate in the established process for assessing, managing, and reporting Adverse Drug Events (ADEs).
- Participate in the management of medical emergencies.
- Assume responsibility for adherence to medication-use policies and guidelines.
- Manage time effectively to fulfill practice responsibilities.
- Comply with accreditation, legal, regulatory, and safety requirements for a specific practice setting.
- Current pharmacist license in the state of Pennsylvania (required).
- Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required)
- PharmD from an accredited College of Pharmacy (preferred)
