About the Opportunity

Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Nephrology team in the Tacoma Metro Area. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and education to patients with kidney disease.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical management of patients with kidney disease, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Conduct patient education sessions to promote healthy behaviors and disease management
  • Interpret diagnostic test results and develop treatment plans based on patient needs
  • Manage patient medications and respond to patient questions and concerns

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Nurse Practitioner education
  • Current Washington State ARNP license
  • At least 1 year of post-training experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with a preference for experience in Nephrology
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and dialysis unit EMRs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care and confidentiality
