Job Title: Renal Dietitian - Per Diem Evening Shifts

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Dietitian to join our team at Queens-Long Island Renal Institute. As a Per Diem Registered Dietitian, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients with renal disease.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop personalized plans of care for patients
  • Review patient lab values and discuss results with physicians and patients
  • Establish and monitor nutritional goals for patients, making adjustments as needed
  • Document ongoing assessments, evaluations, and progress notes
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team rounds to ensure optimal patient care

Requirements:

  • Registered Dietitian (RD) certification
  • At least one year of experience as a Registered Dietitian
  • Prior experience working with renal patients or in a dialysis unit is highly preferred
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
