Job Title: Dishwasher

Job Summary:

HORIZONS Conference Center is seeking a skilled Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and wash dishes, glasses, and utensils in a timely and efficient manner
  • Load and unload dishwashing machines, ensuring proper operation and maintenance
  • Wash specific items by hand, such as wooden cutting boards and delicate china
  • Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment in designated areas
  • Set up workstations before meal preparation begins
  • Ensure adequate supplies of clean dishes, glasses, and utensils during peak hours
  • Monitor and report any technical issues with washing machines
  • Remove garbage and sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor

Requirements:

  • Ability to work days, nights, and weekends
  • Previous experience as a Dishwasher
  • Hands-on experience with industrial washing machines
  • Ability to follow instructions and assist with various tasks as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Familiarity with sanitation rules and regulations
  • Availability to work in shifts, including weekends and evenings
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Valid driver's license (optional)
