Epic Travel Staffing is actively seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Cardiothoracic Surgery for an exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

Epic Travel Staffing is looking for a Travel RN - RNFA - Cardiothoracic

Shift Details: Day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3 PM (5 days a week) with additional on-call responsibilities during weeknights, weekends, and holidays.

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

Travelers are expected to work at least every other holiday.

Qualifications:

  • Valid OH or Compact License
  • At least 1.5 years of recent experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery
  • Minimum of 1.5 years of permanent RNFA experience in Cardiothoracic prior to travel
  • Experience with vein harvesting is essential
  • Proficiency with Epic software is required
  • AHA BLS certification is mandatory
  • RNFA certification is a must
Additional Information:
  • ECG rhythm recognition assessment and safeMedicate training will be conducted during orientation, with acceptable scores required for both
  • COVID-19 vaccination is not mandated by facility guidelines
The schedule includes 80 hours per pay period with on-call duties during weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
Candidates must have a minimum of 18 months of recent Cardiothoracic experience.
Must possess RNFA certification and a valid Ohio or Compact state license.
**AHA BLS certification is required
**Epic experience is essential
*Two recent references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the relevant specialty are required for submission. PBDS Assessment is waived.
ECG rhythm recognition assessment and safeMedicate training will be completed during orientation, with acceptable scores required.
Travelers must work at least every other holiday.
