**Job Title:** Vinfen Corporation Residential Counselor - Support Specialist

**Schedule and Salary:

  • Schedule: Sun, Mon, Wed, Thu 11 pm-9 am
  • Estimated Annual Salary: $40860 based on 20 hours/week at $19.75/hour

**Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Awake Overnight Residential Counselor - Support Specialist to join our team at Vinfen Corporation. As an essential member of our support staff, you will provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a small group residential setting or an individual living arrangement.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe and supportive environment that promotes the well-being and independence of our residents. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized plans that cater to the unique needs and goals of each individual.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Providing direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  2. Assisting with daily living tasks, including medication administration, personal care, and meal preparation
  3. Developing and maintaining relationships with residents, families, and community resources
  4. Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, social work, special education)
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
