Job SummaryThis is a 13-week contract position with the possibility of extension. You will work 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to Labor and Delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including physical and emotional evaluations.
- Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care, including vital signs, medications, and treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
- Current North Carolina Registered Nurse License/Certification
