About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Specialist - Appliances and Cabinets to join our team at Lowe's. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales expertise to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional service to customers, understanding their specific needs and pairing the best products and services to meet their requirements.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest products and services, including appliances and cabinets, and be able to explain their features and benefits to customers.
  • Store Maintenance: Ensure that the store is clean, safe, and stocked with the products our customers need, and that displayed merchandise reflects our high standards of showroom readiness.
  • Order Execution: Execute orders and projects in your area of focus, ensuring that customers receive the products and services they need in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year of external experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months of Lowe's retail experience.
  • Skills: Ability to lift 25 pounds without assistance, and to perform tasks that require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: 1 year of experience entering and submitting customer sales orders, including Special Order Sales.
  • Skills: Ability to promote product-related services and plans, such as installation, delivery, credit financing, or extended protection plans.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with sales goals and metrics, and ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
