Job Title: Structures Superintendent

We are seeking a highly experienced Structures Superintendent to join our team at Flatiron Construction. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of critical infrastructure projects in the United States and Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise assigned project work and ensure compliance with contract drawings and specifications.
  • Plan work methods, materials, equipment needs, and work schedules for assigned project work.
  • Review and understand project specifications to support job set up activities.
  • Identify hazardous areas on the job site and work with multiple job sites and project plans when necessary.
  • Forecast work schedules to identify possible issues and provide technical or scheduling recommendations to mitigate production issues.
  • Provide technical input to identify and resolve project risks, including construction methods, work plan, and material requirements.
  • Document daily activities and meeting notes using company-approved document methods.
  • Perform additional assignments per management's direction.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of heavy civil construction experience required.
  • 7+ years of construction management experience required.
  • Bachelor's Degree a plus.
  • Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills required.
  • Strong leadership capability with internal drive to mentor and grow internal talent.
  • Proven ability to handle complex construction projects using strong organization and multi-tasking skills.
  • Proven ability to manage difficult schedules and project demands while maintaining strict adherence to project safety program.

We are an EEO/AA/ADA/Veterans employer. Salary: $165,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year. Vehicle Program: Personal Vehicle Allowance Tier II: $950 USD/month.
