About the Role

Systra is a leading engineering and consultancy group specializing in public transport and sustainable mobility. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil/Structural Design Engineer to join our team of expert engineers and CAD technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake design reviews of drawings, calculations, and specifications for structural elements such as bus stations, stops, pedestrian bridges, and vehicle bridges.
  • Liaise regularly with clients, design-build contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure design compliance and project goals.
  • Review and approve design submittals for line-side civil works, including roads, earthworks, utilities, drainage, and associated civil structures.
  • Monitor change control throughout design and construction stages to ensure design compliance with HSE and quality standards.
  • Participate in coordination meetings with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to fully understand expected project goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in design and/or reviewing design for structural systems for similar projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of local and international standards.
  • Detailed understanding of materials and construction methods for structural elements.
  • Transportation/Infrastructure Projects Experience.
  • Gulf area/Saudi Arabia experience.
  • Ability to perform detailed calculations using relevant software.
