We are seeking a detail-oriented commercial construction estimator to join our team in Atlanta. As a prominent general contractor, we offer opportunities to work on transformative projects that drive innovation in the construction industry.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000 per year

Job Description

In this role, you will utilize your knowledge of takeoff and estimating software to read and interpret drawings and project specifications. The successful candidate will have experience in budgeting and estimating of industrial manufacturing facilities in the U.S., construction pricing knowledge and experience, and conceptual estimating knowledge and experience.

The ideal candidate will also have strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret drawings and project specifications
  • Survey/Quantify materials/assemblies from drawings
  • Organize quantity takeoffs
  • Contact/Follow up with subcontractors for pricing input
  • Presentation of estimates
  • Tech specs knowledge
  • Meet deadline challenges
  • Ability to work on major estimating efforts

Qualifications:

  • Experience in budgeting and estimating of industrial manufacturing facilities in the U.S.
  • Construction pricing knowledge and experience
  • Civil/Structural/Interior estimating knowledge and experience
